Kung Fu Flash

Kung Fu Flash is multi load cartridge for Commodore 64 and 128 (in C64 mode). It can load PRG files and D64 disk images. It also emulates different cartridge types. Just place your files on a SD or microSD with adapter card formatted to FAT file system and insert the card into the cartridge. Then plug the cartridge to your Commodore and power it up. The launcher will allow you to execute the selected file.

There are three buttons on the cartridge: a reset button, a menu button for starting the launcher, and a special button that is used by the freezer cartridges.

Kung Fu Flash will work with the PAL and NTSC version of the Commodore 64 or Commodore 128.

This is a version redesigned by Lotharek, which features following differences:

• premium quality full size SD card slot (push and pull)
• LEDs for indicate buttons presses as well as read and write operations of the cartridge - visible through translucent case
• power supply to the cartridge has been redesigned to protect its chips
• redesigned a clock line and connection lines to SD card slot, which improves compatibility with fast SDHC cards
• micro USB port instead of mini USB
• jumpers replaced with DIP switches

Firmware update

Just place the KungFuFlash_v1.xx.upd file on the SD card and select the file in the launcher to initiate the firmware update. The newest firmware can be found here.
