Mamlas Lite is a replacement of SRAM and Z80 CPU for Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48/48+ and Timex 2048. It also adds AY module to those machines. It also is able to generate ULA sound.

Installation:
- Remove old 32KB RAM chips (or disable them - easiest way is to connect CAS signal present on DRAM chips to 5V)
- Remove original CPU and its socket if present
- Insert module into CPU's place ensuring appropriate pin 1 orientation
- Solder Mamlas Lite into the motherboard
- Connect audio out from 3 pin header to jack or RCA sockets - your choice is where to drill the case

CAS signal is present on:
- pin 15 of 1bit memory chips (8 pieces on the motherboard)
- pin 16 of 4bit memory chips (2 pieces on the motherboard)

Please note:
- Mamlas Lite will not fit into ZX Spectrum 48 and Timex 2048, unless soldered into motherboard without the socket
- Device is delivered with bottom socket for protection only - do not use it. Remove bottom socket very carefully without damaging or bending precise pins.
- Audio connectors are not supplied
- Some extra bending of metal radiator is needed in ZX Spectrum 48, so device can fit under.
