U1MB Sally adapter

Sally 6502C CPU to Ultimate 1MB adapter allows installation of Ultimate 1MB upgrade without soldering. This is possible if your Atari XL/XE has socketed chips.

Please refer to installation steps of U1MB itself. Replace the point of making four connections to CPU signals, with the following:

1. Remove the CPU from the socket.
2. Insert Sally 6502C CPU to Ultimate 1MB adapter into CPU socket. Please ensure that orientation of the notch on the adapter and CPU socket is correct.
3. Insert CPU into the socket on the adapter, again checking the orientation of the notches.
4. Connect supplied 4 pin connection cable to the pin header on the adapter (J2) and pin header P2 on the Ultimate 1MB board. Pin 1 on the J2 pin header (closest one to the corner of the PCB) must match pin 1 of P2 pin header on the U1MB board.
