A8PicoCart

A8PicoCart is a multi-cart for the Atari 8-bit computers. It is based on Raspberry Pi Pico clone and offers 16MB built-in storage capacity.

It supports following file formats:

• CAR and ROM (cartridge images)
• XEX (Atari executable)
• ATR (floppy disk image, very limited support, only standard SIO loaders will work; remember to disable BASIC by holding Option key when booting an ATR file)

Cartridge comes pre-loaded with example games and demos in all supported file formats.

When cartridge is plugged to USB-C in your PC or laptop it becomes a Mass Storage device (acts like a pendrive or memory card) allowing Atari files to be copied to the cartridge.

A8PicoCart is compatible with all Atari 8-bit computers: 400, 800, 600XL, 800XL, 65XE, 130XE, 800XE and XEGS. Please note that Atari 400 and 800 might require pressing Reset at the computer keyboard after powering on, as these models boot faster than others and Raspberry Pi Pico built into the cartridge might be not initialised fast enough. The cart also features a reset button. After pressing it, press Reset key on Atari keyboard to get back to the file selector.
