Time Wizard is a platform game where the main hero can manipulate time.

Robots from the future are trying to change history to rule the world. The only salvation for humanity is you, the Wizard of Time. You must travel to the future, to the robot world, in order to prevent disaster. Your task is to collect all the energy stored in the hourglasses so the robots cannot go back in time.

The mission is difficult, but you have one main advantage... the ability to manipulate time. You can stop and undo time and restore history. However, be careful! Some objects are immune to time manipulation and cannot be controlled.

The goal of the game is to defeat the main enemy, the ruler of all robots, and recover the original history. To reach it, you must first go through a quest consisting of 69 levels, each containing a variety of logic puzzle and challenging arcade action. On each level there are hourglasses, which must be collected in certain time to open a portal to the next level. Getting to the hourglasses is often difficult and you must discover a way to reach them, often with seconds to spare.

The Deluxe Edition has been expanded in comparison to the original version introduced (and which won!) in ABBUC Software Contest 2023. It features number of new elements:

  • 70 different stages
  • a boss to defeat in the last stage
  • new mechanics in the game to diversify the stages
  • new music in the game, written by Adam Gilmore
  • several switchable language versions
  • game progress saved on the cartridge (unlocking subsequent levels)
  • game achievements saved on the cartridge (even after completing the entire game, you can still improve your results)
  • optional and configurable use of additional fire buttons
  • a number of fixes and graphic improvements, sound effects, etc.
  • game cartridge can be updated from Atari by the user in case a new version of the game would be released
